Computer desks often measure around 80 x 50cm with a height of 70cm for you to comfortably sit up to whether using for general use or working. It's recommended to have a computer desk higher than 50cm so there is plenty of leg room for comfort.
A computer desk will vary in its fixations, however, most computer desks will not need to be fitted to the wall. It's very much up to personal preference and how you work best, as to where you place your computer desk.
First and foremost, you need a computer desk that is big enough for you and your equipment - be sure to measure how much space you need. Then decide if your computer desk needs storage, if it needs to be able to fold away (if it's a home office), and of course what colour and style you want.
